Fractional Laser (CO2)
Carbon dioxide (CO2) laser stimulates skin renewal through a resurfacing and heating effect. Fractional CO2 laser delivers this effect in tiny dots, leaving the skin around each dot intact. Cells from this healthy surrounding skin quickly repair the treated areas, so the skin heals more easily.
Because the CO2 laser's long wavelength reaches the deeper layers of the skin, it can be more effective than other laser types for deep acne scars, scars and pronounced skin ageing.
When treating scars, the laser beam vaporises the poorly healed scar tissue left by acne or injury. The surrounding undamaged skin then covers the area with new, healthy tissue. With each session, acne scars, acne marks and other scars become less visible, revealing smoother, renewed skin.
