Non-Surgical Eyelid Rejuvenation (Plexr Plasma Pen)
Non-surgical eyelid rejuvenation is an effective option for anyone who would rather avoid eyelid surgery. The Plexr device offers a non-surgical, bloodless and stitch-free way to address drooping eyelids.
Plexr harnesses plasma, the fourth state of matter. Its tip produces a fine, high-temperature electrical arc; when held at a set distance from the skin, the arc ionises the surrounding air, releasing plasma energy. This energy sublimates keratinocytes in the outermost layer of the skin, meaning the tissue turns directly from solid to gas without becoming liquid.
As the treated tissue sublimates, unwanted heat is prevented from spreading to surrounding tissue and the fat layer beneath the skin, allowing for refined aesthetic results.
The treatment suits most people, but it is not performed on areas with an active wound or infection, or during pregnancy. For one week beforehand, blood thinners, painkillers and alcohol should be avoided; if you take any medication, always discuss it with your specialist first.

What to expect
- Your suitability and the treatment area are assessed at a consultation.
- Blood thinners, painkillers and alcohol should be paused for a week beforehand; discuss any medication with your specialist.
- Swelling afterwards is normal and, depending on the person, settles within 1 to 5 days.
- Small crusts form and fall away naturally within about 7 to 20 days.
Aftercare
- Cleanse the area with a neutral (pH 5.5) soap; do not disinfect it with alcohol-based products.
- Do not cover the crusts with plasters or tape, and never pick them; let them fall off naturally.
- Do not apply moisturiser to the area.
- Protect the area from sunlight and artificial light, reapplying the protection your specialist recommends throughout the day.
- Follow your specialist's dressing and aftercare instructions carefully.
